Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Recall (“Recall”, “we”, “us”), including our web app and browser extension. By creating an account or using Recall, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Recall.

Using Recall

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Recall.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You are responsible for the content you submit (notes, topics, imported documents) and must have the right to use and share it.
• You agree not to misuse Recall — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits, or use it to generate or store unlawful content.

Your content

You retain ownership of the notes and material you submit to Recall. You grant us a limited license to process that content — including sending it to third-party AI providers such as Google’s Gemini API — solely to generate flashcards and provide the study features you request. Third-party connectors

Recall can optionally connect to third-party services (such as Notion and Google Drive) at your request, so you can import notes or export cards. When you connect one of these services, you authorize Recall to access it on your behalf, limited to the scopes shown on that service’s consent screen. You can disconnect a connector at any time from the dashboard, which revokes Recall’s stored access.

AI-generated content

Flashcards, answer checks, and other content generated by Recall are produced with the help of AI models and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Recall is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgment or authoritative sources — verify important material independently.

Service availability

Recall is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recall and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or study progress.

Termination

You may stop using Recall and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
